Every woman needs a Postnatal plan

It’s crazy to think that the postnatal period is the most critical yet the most neglected period in the lives of mothers and babies [who, 2014]

all energy, focus and planning is geared up to birth, when in fact this is often the hardest part to make a plan for! good care and support in postnatal period is so important for physical and emotional recovery as well as developing a close bond with baby and as a family. it’s also the bit that can be planned a little more…what support is on offer, who can you enlist some help from, at what stage do you want visitors, how to get some sleep in the first few weeks, how about childcare for other children, meals and household stuff, your own recovery…the list goes on. 

we encourage every family at the nest club to focus on the 4th trimester and we help you pull together your own personalised support plan.
